Air Jordan 1 Low Fuchsia Review

By Anthony Levine, longtime sneaker collector.

Welp, I just completed the pack of these AJ1 lows including the Cyber and the Laser Blue colorways. So finally, we have these Air Jordan 1 Low Fuchsia.

Similar to the other two, these are marked as an “SE” model with $100 retail instead of the typical $90 for a J1 low.

Basic black & gold Air Jordan box and spare black laces in a lace bag. They come stock with fuchsia laces which have a bleached effect applied just like the other two pairs. In this colorway, the bleached effect doesn’t look bad at all!

It feels good as a collector and a completionist to get all three colorways. I think this is probably my least favorite colorway overall, but still a dope shoe nonetheless.

How Are The Materials?

Exact same set up as the Laser Blue and Cyber colorways. Which translates to a basic GR level leather and suede. Leather is smooth and thin while the suede is also super regular, however it’s not the felt suede used on runners or the sandpaper suede used on cheaper Nike sportswear releases. It’s just super basic. I’m not sure what the extra $10 is for on these SE models, but I doubt it is for better material quality.

How Do They Fit?

These Air Jordan 1 Low Fuchsia fit true to size with less of a narrow fit than I find on AJ1 highs. I get the same size that I get in 99% of other Nikes and I find these to fit comfortably at that size. Overall the AJ1 low, while basic, is fairly comfortable for a casual sneaker!
